Document Description
Install 250 lineal feet of barbed wire fence with a "portagee" access gate around a rare plant population in Mount Diablo State Park to exclude cattle from rolling/wallowing in the study area and causing damage in the study area. Work will excavate 2' deep to install up to 6 corner and gate posts, with T-posts installed on 8 foot centers to install an approximately 4' high, roughly triangular-shaped enclosure with three or four wire strands in order to effectively keep cattle our, but sitll allow out, but still allow wildlife access. The fence will stay in place for as long as is necessary to protect the study site.
