Document Description
Construct 3 miles of Class I ADA-accessible, non-motorized, multi-use, paved trail from Hwy 255, through Arcata Marsh, south along Humboldt Bay to Brainards Slough. Trail will follow existing railroad beds & trails on existing ROW/properties. it will have a 10-foot wide paved, 2-inch thick asphalt surface with 2-foot shoulders. 5 bridge crossings will be installed (Butcher, Gannon, Jacoby Creek, Old Jacoby Creek sloughs, one wetland area in north part of Arcata Marsh 1 viewing platform, several benches and interpretive/way-finding signs will be installed. Bridges will be 10-feet wide, with 4-foot guard rails. Approx. 3,500 cu yards cut and 10,440 cu yards fill for trail grade.
