Caltrans proposes to remove existing routed rock slope protection (RSP) in stages and build an approx. 500 foot long Soil-Nail wall in its place. A water diversion system will be put into place prior to initiation of construction activities; this will include a coffer dam constructed across the channel directly downstream of the SR-33 Bridge No. 52-44. Permittees' impacts are not exceed 0.118-acre (0.118-acre Permanent) as the result of the removal of nine CA sycamores (Plantanus Racemosa), thirty white alder (alnus rhombifolia), and ten arroyo willow (Salix lasiolepis) for installation of the wall and footings.
