Document Description
The proposed project consists of construction and operation of a new 95,000 sf middle school for a maximum of 1,000 students in 7th and 8th grade, and a central kitchen that would provide breakfast and lunch to surrounding schools. The mid schools would have approximately 95,000 sf of building area, with 35 classrooms, library/media room, multipurpose room, administration, food service facility, and a gymnasium; and 190 parking spaces. Outdoor athletic facilities would include two softball fields, a running track surrounding a football/soccer field, and hardcourts. The central kitchen's 25,000 sf building would have dry storage, freezer and cooler, office, restrooms, and areas for preparation and assembly of meals for District schools and 30 parking spaces.
