Document Description
This project will construct an approximately 61,000 gross square foot two-story Spartan Stadium End Zone Building replacing the current locker room building just north of Spartan Stadium, located on the South Campus. The project will provide space for coaching offices, locker rooms, equipment rooms, training rooms, hospital spaces, a hall of champions, and a 140 to 150-seat auditorium for athletic program purposes and viewing gallery. Approximately 1,700 existing seats on the north side of the stadium will be removed and replaced with approximately 1,350 premium and loge seats, and plaza upgrade will provide a new entry to the west of the stadium. The project includes an additional and renovation to the dining facility in the Simpkins Stadium Center located just north and west of the new building. The demolition of the existing locker room facility is included in the scope of this project.
