Document Description
The project proposes to redevelop an existing motel and restaurant with three new buildings that would contain 160 residential units, a lobby and leasing office, and approximately 4,400 sf of retail space. Approximately 1.4 acres of open space would be maintained on-site. The buildings would be three and four stories, ranging in height from 54 feet to 59 feet (including rooftop mechanical equipment enclosures). The project also includes a below-grade parking structure to accommodate 258 parking spaces, with structure access provided from both El Camino Real and Latham Street. The project includes a General Plan Amendment to adjust the location of the Mixed-Use Corridor General Plan boundary and a rezoning to a Planned Community (P) zoning district.
