Document Description
CDFW is intending to execute a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code (#1600-2012-0076-R5) to the project applicant, Matt van der Linden, City of Solvang. The Permittee proposes to construct a Reinforced Vegetated Slope Protection (RVSP) system, where vegetation is used with interspaced sets of piles running perpendicular to the bank (bents) which are connected with cables, to stabilize the soil. Vegetation will be planted between and amongst the bents, and within several years, the system is designed to be entirely buried and part of the willow riparian habitat.
