Document Description
The proposal is to construct a new, three-story, 11-unit residential condominium building with at-grade parking at 1509 El Camino Real, zoned R-2 and R-3. The project site consists of two separate lots, which would be combined into one lot for the proposed project. The existing apartment complex would be demolished to build the proposed project. Applications to rezone a portion of the property from Two-Family Residential (R-2) to Multi-Family Residential (R-3), and a General Plan Amendment to designate the property proposed for rezoning from Medium Density Residential to Medium-High Density Residential are being requested as a part of the proposed lot merger. The proposed project provides a total of 28 parking spaces (including area for delivery vehicle) where 26 spaced are required. In addition to retaining several existing trees, various species of trees, shrubs, and small plantings will be planted throughout the site. The project also includes repairing the currently failing creek bank.
