Document Description
The Colusa County Migrant Housing Center is under an Abatement and Cleanup Order from the State Water Quality Control Board due to its obsolete wastewater system. To correct this problem the Migrant Housing Center will be connected to the City of Williams wastewater facility by replacing an aged sewer main with the installation of 2,700 LF of 4 inch diameter force main and a lift station within the City right-of-way. The obsolete on-site wastewater ponds will be decommissioned by removing bio-solids, backfilling with soil and grading. There is no change in capacity with the replacement of the old sewer force main. The project will be funded by a grant from the Community Development Block Grant Program.
