The project would improve an existing storm drain pump station. Under the original project, the pump station would be demolished. and existing discharge pipelines from the station to an adjacent backwater slough of the Calaveras River would be removed. A new pump station would be constructed with four pumps, each of which would have an attached discharge pipeline that would go over an existing levee to a concrete dissipater box to be constructed in the slough. The revised project, for which an Addendum was adopted, would not demolish the station, and no dissipater box would be Installed. Discharge would go to a concrete structure on levee with concrete block mat below.
