Document Description
Note: Shorten Review
The District proposes to switch the locations of the track and football field with the varsity softball/soccer field. The new track and football field would include a synthetic AstroTurf and a 400-meter, nine-lane, all-weather, synthetic rubberized running track. The field would be painted for both football and soccer uses. Home and visitor aluminum bleachers would be installed for a total of 1,498 spectator seats, an increase of 698 seats. Four new light poles with speakers would be installed for nighttime use of the facility. The new softball field would be reseeded for natural turf and would include a 30-foot backstop and dugouts. A sprinkler system would be installed to irrigate the landscaped areas, as well as to cool down the synthetic track and field. The proposed project would include a new concession/restroom building and a new stormwater drainage system. Runoff from impervious areas of the project site would be collected in subsurface pipes.
