Document Description
The Santa Barbara campus proposes to expand and renovate facilities provided by the Faculty Club. The major project element is the development of 30 guest rooms that would provide additional overnight accommodations for visitors to UCSB. The project includes improvements to existing Faculty Club facilities, including: remodeling interior facilities; renovating exterior areas; utility infrastructure and energy efficiency upgrades; and building code compliance upgrades, including seismic strengthening. The project includes exterior renovations the maximum dining capacity of the Faculty Club would increase from 150 to 282 people. After completion of the project, the sf of the building would be increased from 13,915 to 29,600 gsf. The building would be approximately 40-feet high.
