Document Description
The City of Ione intends to implement its Wastewater Compliance Project in order to comply with Cease and Desist Order No. R5-2011-0019 that was issued by the CA RWQCB, Central Valley Region. The Wastewater Compliance Project includes: 1) increased aeration capacity in the existing treatment ponds; 2) installation of mixing capacity in one of the three percolation ponds; 3) new disinfection system to provide Title 22 secondary water; 4) new irrigation pump station; and 5) irrigation system improvements on approximately 65 acres owned by Greenrock Ranch Lands, LLC plus 11 acres at the City WWTP.
