The Project will install temporary desert tortoise exclusionary fencing (approved by the US Fish & Wildlife Service) around the perimeter of the 155-acre parcel that will eventually operate a 20 megawatt photovoltaic solar facility. The desert tortoise fence will cross several unnamed ephemeral wash. Hand-driven metal fence posts will be placed within the ephemeral washes spaced approximately every 10 lineal feet. The fence will be removed at the end of the construction period.
