Document Description
ACWD proposes to construct a new 54-inch-diameter Gravity Rediversion Pipeline No. 2 with an intake structure in Shinn Pond, a flow meter and isolation valve vault, and an outlet structure into Stevenson Pond. The existing Shinn Pond Pump Station, Stevenson Pond 18-inch-diameter Diversion Pipeline, and Rock Pond Pipeline would be decommissioned and abandoned in place. The project is located in City of Fremont and it is adjacent to Rancho Arroyo Park. The construction is planned to begin in spring of 2013.
The CA DFW is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2012-0420-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Robert Shaver/Alameda County Water District.
