The CA Government Code requires all cities and counties to adopt a Housing Element as part of their respective General Plan. The Housing Element provides an analysis of the current demographic, economic, and housing characteristics and establishes objectives, policies, and programs addressing community housing conditions and needs within the City of Solana Beach (City). The Housing Element is a comprehensive statement by the City of its current and future housing needs and a listing of proposed actions to facilitate the provision of housing to meet those needs.
