Document Description
The proposed Project, located at Tenth Avenue Marine Terminal (TAMT), includes modifications necessary to install shore power equipment at the TAMT so that berthing cargo ships can use electrical power from the shore rather than from their own engines, in compliance with the CA Air Resources Board Shore Side Power Rule. Three berths at the TAMT (10-2, 10-3, and 10-4) would be equipped to provide shore power to berthing cargo ships. The proposed Project includes on-deck shore power equipment as well as on-deck cable management equipment that would allow shore power capable cargo ships to obtain power shore side through flexible electrical cables.
