Document Description
Cal Poly proposes to correct current bank erosion activity in the vicinity of the Parker Barn Bridge, and to construct stable bank configurations in the eroded sections adjacent to the bridge. The project will redirect the primary streamflow pattern into a more central channel alignment away from the banks through removal of a gravel/cobble bar, and will protect the bridge abutments with riprap, willow staked benches, and brush mattress/brush layering/geotextiles. The project is subject to permitting by CDFG, ACOE, RWQCB and USFWS.
