Document Description
The project involves the construction, operation, and maintenance of a photovoltaic (PV) solar facility located on Imperial Irrigation District (IID) land both in the City of El Centro and Imperial County. The project would have a production capacity of 20 Megawatts (MW) alternating current (AC). The 100,000 - to 120,000-panel project would be installed on portions of four parcel totaling 140 acres, although development would be limited to approximately 118 acres. The project would also include the undergrounding of the portion of Central Drain No. 5 and laterals within the project site, as required by the El Centro General Plan.
