Document Description
CDFW has executed lake and streambed alteration agreement no. 1600-2013-0241-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the fish and game code to the project applicant, the City of Carlsbad.
The project includes initial vegetation removal as well as routine maintenance of the work areas. All trees and shrubs will be removed from the spillway area and near the outlet structure at the downstream end of the dam. Herbaceous vegetation will be removed at the upstream face of the dam. The project will impact 0.546 acres of stream bed, bank, channel, and/or associated wetland/riparian vegetation. The project will mitigate impacts through the creation of 0.015 acre as well as the enhancement of 0.773 acre within a 3.63 acre mitigation area.
