Document Description
Note: Revised
The proposed project consists of an oil exploratory drilling program and temporary pilot thermal enhanced recovery project, located in the Bitterwater area in southwestern San Benito County. The purpose of this project is to determine the economic viability and potential future development of the subsurface reservoir. Under the program, up to 15 wells would be drilled to collect core data on the underlying subsurface reservoir. This data would be used to determine which wells are suitable candidate for a pilot thermal enhanced recovery program. The pilot recovery program would then allow additional data gathering to determine economic viability and potential future development of the subsurface reservoir.
