Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Project applicant, Merced County. The project will include the demolition of the existing Canal School Road Bridge and the construction of a new 152.5 foot by 42.9 foot cast-in-place, reinforced concrete, flat slab bridge at the same location. Prior to demolition of the existing bridge, vegetation will be cleared to provide construction access. The area around the existing bridge will be dewatered, the existing structure will be demolished, and the new bridge structure will be constructed.
