Document Description
The project consists of upgrades to the Fresno-Clovis FWRF for tertiary treatment to produce effluent that meets Title 22 recycled water standards for unrestricted reuse. The proposed recycle water distribution system would deliver disinfected tertiary recycled water to potential recycled water use sites according tot he City's Recycled Water Master Plan. The Project would include a 2 MW energy facility.
The Project will serve primarily commercial and industrial water consumers and landscape irrigation needs in the Fresno service area. Disinfected tertiary recycled water will be provided to potential recycled water use sites according to the City's Recycled Water Master Plan. Recycled water will be used primarily for irrigation of street medians, greenbelts, parks and golf courses. Surplus recycled water available during certain times of the year will be stored in reservoirs for future use or percolated into the local aquifer.
