Document Description
The project includes construction of a 2 MW biomass facility that would use a gasification technology. The project includes an approx. 11,000 sf 2-story structure that would house the power generating and emissions control equipment, two 400 sf pads to accommodate transformer and phase-shifting equipment, and an approximately 1 acre material storage area with a 7,000 sf open air pole barn structure. The project also includes on-site parking, a paved circulation area with new driveways on Cabin Creek Rd and the access road to TART and County DPW facilities located on the site, an aggregate base haul road, stormwater treatment facilities, and utility improvements. Biomass materials would be processed at the locations from which they are removed and delivered via haul truck to the project site. No additional material processing would occur at the site.
