The project is an approximately 20-acre of a 140-acre parcel located in the Big Bend area at the end of Hot Springs Road, approximately 0.45 miles west of the intersection of Hot Springs Road and Big Bend Road. The applicant has requested approval to modify an approved conceptual development plan and standards adopted with the Commercial Recreation (C-R) zone district that applies to the property. The applicant has also requested an exception from Shasta County development standards that require parking areas and driveways to be surfaced with asphalt.
