Document Description
The proposed project involves the construction of a 24-foot-wide asphalt concrete roadbed with 6-foot-wide paved shoulders and 2 feet of shoulder-backing, 100 feet north of the current location. The Project would also include installation of three culverts, a non-skewed intersection at State Route 395, and demolition and removal of the original asphalt road upon completion of the new roadway. The project will result in impacts to 10.5 acres of Mohave ground squirrel and desert tortoise habitat including temporary impacts to 6.48 acres; the Project will permanently remove 4.02 acres of Mohave ground squirrel and desert tortoise habitat.
