Document Description
The scope of the project entails the renovation of the large gymnasium at Canoga Park High School (formerly known as the "Boy's Gymnasium"). the gymnasium is a 27,607 square foot, reinforced concrete structure build in 1955. It is located in northwest quadrant of the campus, north of the shop buildings and northwest of the athletic field and track.
The interior renovations will provide for accessiblity per the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and include upgrades of the men's and women's restrooms located in the lobby, new hardware throughout the gymnasium, including exterior doors at the main entrance, a new resilent wood gymnasium floor, new 1006-seat telescoping bleachers, and other accessiblity improvements including new railings, drinking fountains and signage.
