Eagle Rock Aggregate, Inc. is proposing to construct and operate a sand, gravel, and granite aggregate receiving, storage, and transit facility at 1925 Pier D Street in the Port of Long Beach. The Proposed Project would consists of a vessel berthing facility, a conveyor and truck loading system, a product storage pad, truck scales, a pre-fabricated office building, and utilities and fencing. Proposed construction would include dredging and wharf modifications to receive vessels, conveyor systems, and truck scales. Proposed operations include self-unloading vessels. Aggregate material would be stockpiled on-site and loaded into trucks using front loaders.
