Document Description
The County proposes to widen the northbound bridge deck and replace the southbound bridge of Bridge No. 53C1777L&R, located on Sierra Highway over the Santa Clara River. The Sierra Highway Bridge over the Santa Clara River Project (Proposed Project) will consist of widening the northbound section of the bridge from the existing 43 feet to 52 feet without adding additional travel lanes and replacing the existing 44-foot wide southbound concrete bridge with a 52-foot wide concrete bridge. An area of approximately 63,700 s.f. within the riverbed will be temporarily impacted by construction activities.
