Document Description
The City of Galt, working with the Caltrans, proposes to modify the Twin Cities Interchange on State Route 99, by the construction of roundabouts on State Route 104/Twin Cities Road. The project will improve traffic congestion at the interchange by eliminating the traffic signals and providing modern roundabouts at each of the frontage road intersections (East Stockton Blvd. and West Stockton Blvd.). The project also includes a new freeway onramp in the southbound direction onto SR-99, improved pedestrian access at the two intersections, a sidewalk on the north side of Twin Cities Road connecting the intersections, and Americans with Disability Act upgrades.
