Document Description
Installing a 15-inch diameter, Class 80 psi pipeline into a 50-foot long open trench to serve as a storm water outlet. The pipeline will connect to an existing, submerged 4-foot by 4-foot concrete box outside of the river's riparian zone. The pipeline will lay parallel to the ground surface so as to prevent rapid water discharge and to avoid scour of the riverbank. The open trench will be backfilled once the pipe is placed. The outlet pipe will protrude from the riverbank ~10 feet downslope of the top of the bank. Water will be discharged onto the riverbank in an area heavily vegetated with willow (Salix spp.). All activity will occur on the upper half of the river bank in a non-wetted area.
