Document Description
The Long-Term Water Transfers EIR/EIS evaluates a range of potential water transfers from willing sellers to meet existing demands of buyers. Water . transfers could occur through groundwater substitution, cropland idling, reservoir release, and conservation and could include individual and multiyear transfers from 2019 through 2024, subject to annual review and apRroval. Transfers could originate in Colusa, Butte, Glenn, Merced, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, Shasta, Solano, Sutter, Tehama, Yolo or Yuba Counties. Transfer buyers could be in Alam~da, Contra Costa, Fresno, Kings, Merced, San Benito, San Joaquin, Stanislaus or Santa Clara counties.
