Document Description
The MCDPW proposes to remove excess sediment from 46 culverts and drainages to protect Sir Francis Drake Blvd, Bear Valley Road, Fairfax-Bolinas road and Olema-Bolinas road from flooding, accidents and potential closure; protect public safety and property; improve water quality; and restore geomorphic conditions and ecological functionality. This flood control project is required as part of on-going maintenance by MCDPW to remove accumulated sediment and silt along numerous drainages, channels and culverted road crossings in west Marin County.
