Document Description
The proposed Project is located in the Port of Los Angeles, near the San Pedro Community in the City of Los Angeles. The proposed project site encompasses Berths 56 through 60 and Berths 70 and 71 within the San Pedro Waterfront Plant area, and is bounded by the East Channel to the west, the Main Channel to the east, 22nd Street to the north, and the open water to the San Pedro Bay to the south. The proposed Project involves development of an urban marine research center within a 28-acre portion of the 400-acre San Pedro Waterfront Master Plan area along the west side of the Los Angeles Harbor's Main Channel.
