Document Description
The Project includes the conversion of 2.02 acres of undeveloped land into riparian habitat and restoring the channelized Colgan Creek into a wider, meandering channel. Project activities include tree removal, grubbing, grading, re-vegetation, installing pool habitat log structures and constructed riffles, bioengineered bank stabilization, paving of an existing gravel path on the west side of the creek bank, and other activities. The Project will result in permanent impacts to 2.02 acres of California tiger salamander (Ambystoma californiense) habitat. The Project is expected to result in incidental take of California tiger salamander, which is designated as a threatened species under CESA. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
