NOTE: Review Per Lead The State of California requires that all jurisdictions periodically update the Housing Element of their General Plans. Within these Housing Elements, the State mandates that local governments plan for their share of the region's housing need for all income categories. In the case of the San Francisco Bay Area, the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) and the State Housing and Community Development Department (HCD), determine the number of plan for 486 units in the 2007-2014 period.
