Document Description
The project will provide pipeline extensions to link existing North Coast County Water District (NCCWD) potable water infrastructure with the new Caltrans Devil's Slide tunnels. Two separate (disjunct) pipeline extensions are necessary to create a "looped" pipeline so that there is continuous water circulation and the water does not stagnate. The project is located at the southern end of the City of Pacifica and extends into unincorporated San Mateo County near San Pedro Mountain. The pipeline alignments are generally located within existing road right-of-way and would be installed beneath the roadbed.
