Document Description
The Department of Water Resources is planning in-water geotechnical borings in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, including the Sacramento, San Joaquin, and Mokelumne rivers, and Steamboat, Columbia Cut, Dutch, and Potato sloughs. Geotechnical borings will provide geological information necessary for proposed intake structures and tunnels for proposed alignments of the water conveyance facilities associated with completion of the EIR/EIS for the Bay Delta Conservation Plan. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-200-0251-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Department of Water Resources.
