Document Description
NOTE: Review Extended Per Lead The project would improve water quality in the Aquatic Park lagoons by increasing water circulation and preventing stormwater inflow through better tidal exchange and storm drain infrastructure modifications, and restoration of wetland habitat areas. Features would include enlarging the connection between Potter Street storm drain and Model Yacht Basin, creating an opening channel connection between the Model Yacht Club and the Main Lagoon, installing slide gates on storm drain connections to Aquatic Park lagoons, repairing main tide tubes, and connecting Radio Tower Pond with the Potter Street storm drain. Habitat improvements would include creation/restoration of salt/brackish wetland, invasive non-native plant removal and replacement with native species, upland area improvements, and buffers to protect habitat areas.
