Document Description
The City of Lafayette is preparing a Program EIR for the Draft Downtown Lafayette Specific Plan Project. The Specific Plan describes the land use, urban design and circulation framework to guide public investment and private development over the next 20 yrs in Lafayette's downtown. The Project also includes amendments to the Lafayette General Plan, incorporation of 3 existing specific plans into the Specific Plan, and amendments to the City's Zoning Ordinance to implement the Specific Plan. Preparation of the EIR is being funded by a Metropolitan Transportation Commission Station Area Planning grant and the Lafayette Redevlopment Agency.
