NOTE: Lead Agency changed from Caltrans #6 to Caltrans#10
Caltrans proposes to extend State Route 4 West, also known as the Crosstown Freeway, westward from its current termini at Fresno Avenue to Navy Drive. The extension would include on-and off-ramps at Navy Drive to convey traffic from Navy Drive to State Route 4 and the elimination of the on-and off-ramps at Fresno Avenue. The proposed project includes an elevated structure over the Boggs Tract neighborhood and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway corridor from east of Fresno Avenue to west of the railroad. The total length of the project is 1.03 miles from post mile 14.67 to 15.7.
