The City of Mill Valley is proposing to construct 2 new stairway projects and reconstruct 4 existing stairways as part of its overall program to increase pedestrian access throughout the city. The 2 projects that are the subject of this IS/MND consist of the Wainwright Place Steps project and the Molino Way Steps project. Both are subject to discretionary approval by the City Council. The four stairway reconstruction projects are considered "Categorically Exempt" from CEQA.
