Document Description
The City of Ceres has created the Downtown Specific Plan to address the development and re-development of the 121 acre area in the downtown area of Ceres. The Specific Plan would also require some amendments to the Ceres General Plan to make the two documents consistent. The adoption of proposed amendments to the General Plan would establish new land use designations and would ensure consistency between the Specific Plan and the Ceres General Plan. Additionally, a zoning ordinance amendment will be required to adopt a new Downtown Specific Plan Overlay Zone that will implement the development standards in the Specific Plan.
