The subject site is an interior parcel fronting on Vale Road. The City's General Plan and Zoning Ordinance both designate this as Institutional. The site is currently vacant. It is the former site of St. Anthony's Rehabilitation Hospital which was demolished in October of 2008. The parcel is ~20,909 sf. The applicant is proposing to integrate this parcel into the surrounding San Pablo Lytton Casino parking lot. The site plan indicates that ~39 parking space can be accommodated on the site. The applicant is proposing to install fencing and landscaping to match the design of the surrounding Casino parking lot.
