The County of Madera has approved the replacement of the existing 30 ft wide by 109 ft long bridge built in 1934 with a clear span, 42 ft 10 inch wide by 125 ft 0 inch long cast-in-place concrete box girder bridge supported on short seat abutment at each end. The Project area consists of the area within or adjacent to Coarsegold Creek, with associated foothill blue-oak woodland, non-native annual grassland, and adjacent riparian habitat.
