Document Description
The proposed project consists of the demolition of existing structures on the site and the construction of a farm worker housing complex which consists of 66 units of farm worker family housing. The unit mix would include 21 two-bedroom, 35 three-bedroom, and 10 four-bedroom units. These family apartments would include modern kitchens, energy efficient appliances, and outdoor amenities. The project would serve farm worker families at or below 50 percent of the median household income for family of four in Ventura County. The project will be structured to maintain affordability for at least 35 years. The site would also include a community room, a recreational soccer field and basketball courts, three tot lots, and a community garden.
