Document Description
The project involves the construction of approximately 2.3 miles of 12 to- 24 - inch pipelines along existing roads and industrial land adjacent to the Union Pacific Railroad. The proposed arsenic treatment plant would be located on an existing industrial site adjacent o and south of East Louise Avenue. The arsenic treatment plant would involve raw water blending; coagulation of arsenic using ferric chloride and sodium hypochlorite as well as sulfuric acid, if required. Treated water would be filtered, mixed and returned to the City water system. Solids will be subject to testing and will be disposed to an approved waste facility.
