The proposed project is legally required update to the Final Closure Plan (2009) and Postclosure Maintenance Plan (2009) for the Crazy Horse Sanitary Landfill (CHSL), and the implementation of closure construction and maintenance activities in accordance with applicable regulatory standards and requirements governing closure and postclosure of solid waste landfills. The Final Closure Plan (2010) and a Final Postclosure Maintenance Plan (2010) have been prepared and will be submitted to the appropriate regulatory agencies.
