The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), in cooperation with the North County Corridor Transportation Expressway Authority, proposes to adopt a corridor from which a future freeway alignment will be chosen in which to build a replacement for the existing State Route 108. The route adoption is the first step in selecting a preferred corridor.
