Document Description
The 47-acre Fontana Kaiser Medical Center Hospital Replacement Project would consist of renovations to and demolition/reconstruction of several facilities on the medical center campus including the existing hospital, medical offices, and administrative services. The project would also include renovations to and/or relocation of several infrastructure and service systems including energy, electrical, water, wastewater, access/parking and landscaping. For example, to support the renovation of the hospital, a new electrical substation would be constructed and electrical supply from San Bernadino Avenue would be extended to the hospital via Kempster Street. A total of five phases of construction are planned over an approximate six-year time frame.
